My name is Nicholas Rist-Brown: please just call me Nich.

I can thank my wife for my start in photography. Little did she know that when she went to a school fundraiser, and won a trip to Africa, that it would ignite my love of photography. Long story short, my son rides horses, and I started taking pictures of him at events. I soon started taking pictures of all his friends from the farm.

Although I have shot at other kinds of sporting events, my main focus is western equine action shooting; that is, capturing the athletics of both the horse and rider from barrel races, rodeos, and local 4-H events.
